“Hi, I’m Taf! How are you?”

This is how I often introduce myself to people and in most instances I almost always see the person I’m greeting having a momentary short-circuit in their heads because when I say I’m “Taf”, they hear “Tough” and they’re looking at me and see this skinny little guy busy calling himself Tough? I remember one guy actually responded “Aren’t you being a bit presumptuous?” Of course he meant well and was just joking – and I had to explain that its Taf and not Tough 🙂

So now that I have introduced myself, I thought I should take a moment to jot a note to express my appreciation and how grateful I am that you are taking time to be part of the little community we are building. You can see what I do in my About Page so I will not be talking about that here but rather just share what I think will be the use of this platform. So thank you for being here.

Truth be told, I am still trying to figure out a lot of things in my life and I have this urge of wanting to clearly define what my purpose is. As a result I am constantly searching, seeking for clarity and looking for answers and at times in my pursuit for this clarity I often end up being more confused. But that’s okay – and if you ask me I think that’s what actually make life quite interesting, at least for me. The one thing that I know for certain is that no matter what happens, everything is going to be alright!

With that in mind, I think I will be using this platform to share with you some of the discoveries I will be making along the way, share with you my thoughts on any interesting books or pieces of literature that I find interesting as well as share some insights from my world of work on things that I think might be of interest to someone out here. And oh, did I mention this is the first time I am having an open public blog? I’ve always been nervous about it but hey – let’s see how far we’ll go!

Anyways, I’m Taf – short for Tafadzwa, and its really nice to meet you 🙂

Taf!
